Summary:
We are completing the second year of our change to a “catalog bid” for the annual Maintenance and Janitorial Equipment and Supply RFP. Following the successes utilizing the catalog bid format for Athletics, Fine Arts and Band RFP’s, Maintenance has also yielded positive results.
The RFP performed in March 2015 allowed for four (4) annually renewable options and we would like to exercise the second option year.
We received affirmative renewal letters from all 36 currently approved vendors to continue with the same pricing for the 2017-18 school year.
The vendor tabulation with applicable catalog discount percentage is attached for your review.
 
Budgetary Impact:
While the 2017-18 budgets have not yet been determined, the total non-personnel budget for the Maintenance Department for the 2016-17 school year was $1,341,729.00.
