The following recommendation has been submitted by the campus administration at Crowley High School:
Mark Jones served the students of Crowley High School from 1981-2010. During that time he built the CHS Baseball program into a well-respected organization. During his tenure he received multiple district coach of the year honors, was the 1991 State-semifinalist, and in 2001 set state record for 19 consecutive wins and ranking 1st in the state. But beyond his accomplishments on the baseball field, he inspired countless young men. These young men went on to be well-respected members of the Crowley community.
These men, along with current CHS baseball players, would like to honor Coach Jones by naming the ballpark the Mark Jones Baseball Field.
