Summary: Bess Race Elementary earned an accountability rating of "Met Standard" in the spring of 2017. However, in the spring of 2016 the campus earned an accountability rating of "Improvement Required" because the campus did not meet Index I Student Achievement or Index II Student Progress. The campus missed each of these index scores by 1 point. Tonight we are presenting the Bess Race Targeted Improvement Plan for the 2017 - 2018 school year. This plan outlines some of the key components the campus is implementing to help ensure that the campus continues to earn the rating of "Met Standard" or it's equivalent based on the new accountability system.
